Dendrite is designed with a "local-first" architecture. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any of your personal data, browsing history, or chat conversations.
2. Chat Data and Parsing
All parsing, indexing, and logic mapping of your AI conversations (on platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini) happen strictly locally on your device. Your chat data never leaves your browser and is never sent to any external server or third-party API.
3. Local Storage
The extension uses your browser's local storage solely to save your UI preferences (like themes or export formats) and to temporarily cache the logic map of your active tabs to improve performance. This data remains on your machine and is not accessible to the developers.
4. Permissions
We request specific browser permissions (like activeTab, scripting, and host permissions for AI platforms) strictly to inject our local parsers into the active chat window. We do not track your general web browsing.
